Firefox 3 Up For Download!

Help break a world record! Download Firefox 3! DOWNLOAD!!
It will probably be down (as it has for me and a lot of others on Digg), but I was able to get through after a while. There are so many people downloading it right now, it’s awesome.
However, the download link used to be for version 2.0.0.14, but that’s been fixed to 3.0.
If you can’t get to the exact download links, here they are (for English anyway):
For Windows:
http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-3.0&os=win&=en-US
For Mac:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-3.0&os=osx&=en-US
For Linux:
http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-3.0&os=linux&=en-US
Torrent:
http://isohunt.com/download/45839286/firefox.torrent
If you’re having trouble getting those, you could download them from FileHippo, however, it won’t count towards the world record. Unless you need it RIGHT NOW, I’d wait, just to help Mozilla reach a world record.
Crazy things have been going on for Firefox 3 right now, and I must say, it feels amazing to be apart of it. Let’s beat that record!

No commentsRifflet is the Twitter for Music

Rifflet.com is a social site where users can upload 1-minute songs to other users, for them to download, respond, or incorporate into their own songs.
Gizmodo interviewed this site, and you can hit it all on the site, but here’s a brief question I liked:
Why the 1 minute limit?
Originally I envisioned this site as sort of a “Twitter for rock and roll,” although we’ve since decided that’s not such a great description. [Ed note: oops on the headline!] The thing I love about Twitter is the amount of conciseness it requires. If you’re writing a traditional pop song, for instance, there’s time for an intro, a verse and a chorus in 60 seconds and not much else. Unless you’re NOFX (and trust me, you’re not) you can’t really pack a full song with a ton of ideas into less than a minute.
If you guys haven’t noticed by the way, the banner for Rifflet uses the same font we do here at DCTF (refer to banner at the top).

No commentsSelling a Mac book: The Right Way
Trying to sell that mac on eBay with little to no success? Well I have the perfect solution!

A girl. That’s right. A girl as in, this one ->
It doesn’t matter what kind of laptop the computer you’re selling is, if you have a girl in a bikini holding that thing (that’s what she said), then you’re for sure to sell that old crapbook.
For the rest of the pictures- I mean, info about the Mac Book, check it out here.

What does it look like? Well from the street view, you can see it through a reflection in glass.

Honestly, I only go on Digg, so I don’t know just how good the rest of them are, but by the descriptions, they seem to be in pretty good condition and order.

No commentsTwitter’s Real Usage Numbers Revealed

The Twitters Stats are in!
Here’s what they are:
March 2008
Total Users: 1+ million
Total Active Users: 200,000 per week
Total Twitter Messages: 3 million/day
Note: I don’t know what it means by total users, since there are more users than that in the database.
